Screenwriting Workshop – The Five Fatal Flaws
Venue: ArtHouse Crouch End (Room with a View)
Time: 6.00pm – 7.00pm
Tickets: Free (booking essential)
So you want to be a screenwriter. Look no further. Award-winning director, consultant and tutor Charlie takes you on a journey from the moment you first put pen to paper to the point at which you are ready to start pitching or directing your completed screenplay for film or television. He’ll be looking at the five fatal flaws that can kill a script stone-dead and also at ways of breaking the rules to bring freshness and develop your personal voice. He gives inspiration, ideas and practical advice.

Writer-director, Charles Harris is also one of Britain’s most respected script consultants, having co-founded the first screenwriters workshop in the world, London Screenwriters Workshop (now Euroscript). He has won international awards for his work in TV and cinema, including his debut feature film, Paradise Grove – and has just written a new book, A Complete Screenwriting Course, published this October by John Murray Learning.
