Animation Freakatorium
Venue: ArtHouse Crouch End (Live Space)
Time: 6.30pm – 8.00pm
Tickets: £7, £5 Concessions
Sunday finishes it’s crafty day with a hand-picked selection of the best new animation short films, from stop motion to CGI. The event will veer from Puppets on film to a live puppetry performance from the raunchy and rowdy Flabbergast Theatre. Try as you may, you will not escape Boris & Sergey as they mingle with the masses! Prepare to be shocked and dumbfounded as the Balkan Badboys delve into the world of the macabre, attempting a live seance with ancient incantations, possessions and exorcisms, whilst beguiling you with their roguish wit and erudite jocularity.

Formed in 2010 Flabbergast was set up to make uncompromising and exciting physical theatre in a belief that all theatre should be engaging and sweaty. They are particularly interested in puppetry and its application in both devised theatre and work on existing texts, their leaning is currently towards Bunraku Puppetry and exploring puppetry for adult audiences, we are keen to continue working on breaking the preconception prevalent in the UK that puppetry is a children’s medium.
